The Dover Flower Show and Dover Art Show will be held on 17-18 September 2022 at the Dover Museum & Gallery, Old School Building – 6989 Huon Hwy, Dover.
The Art Show will extend to the following weekend, 25 September.
Entry forms for both events are available by link on the Dover Museum and Gallery Facebook page and at various information hubs within the Huon Valley.
Local artists from the Huon Valley and Far South are invited to present works and there will be prizes for the best entries.
Flower Shows have been part of the history of Dover for over 120 years. The history of early shows is well documented in Dorothy Crocker’s publication: A History of Dover Agricultural and Horticultural Shows on sale at DMG.
The Dover History Group revised the practice of holding flower shows in 2017 and it has become an annual event with strong community support from both adults and children. We are hoping this year will be bigger and better than ever so please enter and visit the shows.
