Welcome to a day of creative mindfulness with David and Michelle of Phoenix Creations. in their small studio tucked away just two minutes from Cygnet’s main street, David will share his talent, by guiding you through the steps of making a wooden spoon or scoop from scratch. With your very own clever hands, you will use recycled vintage or green timber straight from a tree, to create your spoon.

Fancy Granny Secret Supper Club at The Bowmont
This winter, indulge in the Secret Supper Club hosted by The Bowmont. This heritage building, usually exclusive to accommodation guests, unveils its mystique for a limited-time culinary escapade. Delight in three-courses of Huon Valley’s finest produce. Each plate served in a charming ‘fancy granny style’ and perfectly complemented by local wines.
The Fancy Granny Secret Supper Club will occur on Saturday 8th June; Saturday 27th July and Saturday 17th August.

Welcome to our festival of reflection, where we will look back on Mid-Winter Festivals past and celebrate with fire, feasting and hot cider for the very last time.
Everything that makes this festival great will return, welcoming back our favourite live musical acts, storytelling, pagan finery, rollickin’ fun for the kids, the ancient Pagan ritual of Wassailing thee old apple tree, and of course watching Big Willie burn!

Piatti Invernali – Winter Cooking Classes
Piatti Invernali (winter dishes) – focus on traditional Italian winter foods. Soups and stews are a wonderful addition to any culinary repertoire. Italian soups are not only healthy and full of flavour but there is that extra something special that Italians do so well!
We will show you how to make traditional minestrone, risotto, fresh greens with pork, beef spezzatino and a zuppa di lenticchie (lentils).
