I have launched my COUNSELLING and COACHING Private Practice recently (Counselling Wellbeing and Connection) and never intended to offer services locally until I saw the glaring need for supports to be offered that were different.  I offer a range of service options and flexibility in the hours I practice that allow for our changing needs as ADULT humans !

What is a little different with me is that YOU the client chooses if you are needing either a COUNSELLING or a COACHING approach COUNSELLING is for clients who are willing to do the inner work and find the answers they need themselves (obviously with a bit of guidance, support and encouragement from me).  COACHING is often a great approach when you feel stuck, or value the need for direct suggestions that comes from a place of understanding, compassion and empathy. (Please look at my website for more information about the differences if needed).

In life – I feel like we all go through different phases and come across situations that require our immediate attention.  Sometimes we don’t have the tools to deal with these situations effectively.  Or perhaps we need a sounding board to hear back our situations through a different set of ears and eyes.    Then there is the ever increasing personal experiences of overwhelm and/or burn out, and how to come back to a place of healthy balance and a sense of wellbeing.

You might only need one appointment, or you may decide to go deeper and seek a change in behaviour and create new habits that allow you to flourish.

PLEASE NOTE regardless of what way you choose to connect with me: All initial appointments are 90mins to allow for paperwork (legally required) and to allow you enough timer to safely feel heard and connected with.

I offer:

  • 90mins EASY online telehealth appointments 
  • 60mins EASY online telehealth appointments
  • 60min WALK/SIT and Talk OUTDOOR appointments (held somewhere outside that allows for privacy & relaxed conversations.  These locations will be somewhere flat and quiet  – potentially if you have a dog that helps you to feel calmer – you are welcome to discuss this as an option to have them with you during the appointment. (You would need to sign a waiver for this type of therapy experience.)                                                  *All of these outdoor experiences are low impact and can be as relaxing as sitting on a bench in front of the water, or walking calmly around a flat area that brings you peace.
  • WORKPLACE support for;
    • The executives, managers, and leaders who need a way to debrief, and get external support in a confidential setting.  Learning new strategies to support your wellbeing, gain confidence, embrace new tools to support you and your teams.  Learning how to embrace being an empathetic leader instead of reacting to the old ways of managing that lead to a path of staff disengagement, resignations, high turnovers, sick days, compensation claims, union involvements etc.  Finding ways to embrace wellness and reduce burnout.  Understanding substance misuse from a compassionate perspective for yourself or perhaps recognising it occurring within your employees.  Understanding the personality types and the differing needs and skills they each bring.
    • The Staff who would like to speak to someone locally who can guide them through a tough spot, or giving them a safe space that allows them to debrief situations or conflict confidentially, or sort through issues of bullying, or learn new ‘healthy’ stress reduction strategies.  Chatting to someone who will listen openly and hold space for them to offload with no judgement.

* I have worked with a wide range of industries previously including lots of trades and skills based workplaces.   I understand that all employees needs differ.  I work across the spectrum from executive leadership to the newest employees who are getting their first jobs.  I have supported the Human Resources and Executive teams to do wellness checks of the organisation that focus on different areas including improving morale, and looking at areas that might be contributing to poor workplace culture.

* I can facilitate and deliver training, toolbox chats, give talks at staff gatherings or training days.

* I can work onsite in the organisation, or discreetly in person, or via online options.

* Invoicing per client or per day to the business, or I can see people privately at their own expense.  Invoicing can be discussed on a one-on-one basis.

  • SUPPORT GROUPS:  

I am offering these locally very soon and the reasons for the gatherings will change.  My main areas that I would love to support individuals with are;

    •  Those who are experiencing ‘Chronic Pain/Illness, or a sudden Life-Changing Diagnosis’.
    •  The PARTNERS/CARERS/FAMILY MEMBERS of those who have experienced the above diagnoses or those who are caring for someone who have failing health.
    • Grief and Loss Groups.  I am hoping to be able to turn this into more directed and specialised series of groups in the future.

I am acutely aware of is the lack of support ‘in-person’ groups south of Kingston and in particular my focus would be on the Franklin, Geeveston, to Dover areas (With anyone from the Huon areas welcome to attend).

I DO work with ADULTS (not children). 

I do NOT offer ‘Couples Counselling’.   

I DO work with Individuals and/or Groups.

CLOSED Monday AND Tuesday
Open for enquiries in-between clients on
Wednesday from 12noon - 7.30pm
Thursday from 10am - 7.30pm
Friday from 11.30am - 5.30pm
One Saturday (per month) to see clients between 10-2.30pm.
(These SATURDAY BOOKINGS are select bookings that can only be made by contacting me)
