Cygnet & Surrounds Crop Swap

Everyone is welcome to come to our monthly gatherings on Kate Flints driveway, to give what we can and take what we need. It is not about swapping but about sharing. Here is how it works….

Bring anything you have that is to do with food….. growing, cooking, eating, preserving, composting, learning…. books, tools, plants, garden produce, kitchen creations, animal manures, seeds, jars, netting, stakes, dumpster doings, or skills like tool sharpening, fence weaving etc etc. You don’t have to bring a lot but you can still take a lot!

• Set your wares on Kates tables. Please leave time for this.
• Check out what else is on the tables and chat to the regulars and newbies.
• Then we each explain what we have brought…. I love this bit as everyone has a story.
• Kate supplies teas and coffees and home made biscuits or cake but you are welcome to bring something too, as your sharing.
• Children are wonderfully welcome but it is near the road. NO DOGS.
• It is heaps of fun and has just the loveliest vibes.

Monthly dates vary. But it is always 11am on a Saturday. Join the page or contact Kate to get onto the email list. Between gatherings everyone does swaps on the Facebook page. You can offer something or ask for something. No money is allowed.
