Glen Huon Primary School

Glen Huon Primary School is a Department of Education school that has been educating children on this site since 1880.

We cater for students from birth to grade 6. We offer a unique small country school experience in the picturesque Huon Valley, where children can grow and learn in a rich natural environment. We have a bush-land playground, fruit trees and vegetable gardens where the children can develop an understanding of nature and our connections to our natural environment. Children are encouraged to create and build in our beautiful bush setting which is used as a learning environment. Team challenges support the development of effective communication, an understanding of shared spaces and resources, and builds community and a sense of belonging.
