Mickeys Beach Track in Randalls Bay

A short amble from the western end of Randalls Bay beach, up sandstone steps, past the headland and along the coastal reserve to beautiful and secluded Mickeys Beach.

Instead of returning along the same track, you can return via the Quarry Reserve Track.

You can also walk the track in reverse starting at Mickeys Beach, walking along Randalls Bay beach, and continuing onto the Echo Sugarloaf Nature Trail for a half-day walk.

This track is maintained by Friends of Randalls Bay (FORB).

Getting there:

From Cygnet take the Channel Highway south (B68 – turn left at the roundabout). Stay on B68 until Randalls Bay Road. Turn right, drive down the hill and park at Randalls Bay Beach BBQ area.

Plan Ahead:

Tasmania’s remote areas are beautiful however weather and track conditions can change suddenly. Mobile reception in many of these areas can be limited or non existent. These tracks are not Council owned or maintained.

Be prepared for the walk or activity. Plan ahead, bring enough water, check the alerts, and make sure you are comfortable with the difficulty rating.
