“On the Huon River” is a luxury retreat located on the banks of the Huon River in Lymington, Tasmania. This peaceful and private house is only a ten-minute drive to the thriving town of Cygnet where you can enjoy lifestyle shops, local food and wine at the many cafes, restaurants and the newly opened Cygnet Cannery. Ten minutes the other way you can visit Matthew Evan’s Fat Pig Farm.

The unique architectural construction provides warmth with its double -glazed windows and conservatory to maximize sun and views. You can watch the resident pademelons while cooking dinner in the well-equipped kitchen.  Afterwards you can relax around the courtyard firepit to enjoy the seclusion, Milky Way and sound of the gentle waves.

The property has a minimal environmental impact as it collects its own water, has an OzziKleen sewerage/waste water system & solar hot water.

Please note the property is really not suitable for young children as it is on the banks of a fast flowing river & has an unfenced dam.
